Q: What makes Gym Doctors the best choice?
A: Our experienced staff of twelve full-time factory trained service professionals sets us apart from our competitors. We can meet the requirements of any job, and unlike some of our competitors our business and staff are truly manufacturer certified.
Q: Do you provide free estimates?
A: Unfortunately no due to high labor costs. Buyer be aware - there is no such thing as "free estimate." If a "free estimate" is offered, they will have to make up for it elsewhere which translates to higher prices on parts or longer repair times. We believe in upfront honesty.
Q: How much does it cost to fix my machine?
A: There is no way to know without a proper diagnosis. Most issues can be resolved with a tune-up. If parts are required, a second trip may be needed because no one stocks all parts for every machine.
Q: How long does it take to fix my machine?
A: In residential cases about 98% of the time we're done within 45 minutes to an hour.
Q: What are our on-site rates?
A: For residential clients our on-site standard rate is $179 for the first hour (which covers the cost of travel and labor within the metropolitan area), and $100 per hour thereafter, billed in 15 minute intervals.
For commercial clients, our on-site standard rate is $149 for the first hour, and $100 per hour thereafter.
Q: What if a return visit is required to complete a repair?
A: For residential clients we’ll waive any additional labor charge and you’ll only be responsible for the $79 metropolitan area travel fee.
Q: Do the travel fees change if I am located outside the immediate metropolitan San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento?
A: If you are located within our
service territory, but outside our primary metropolitan service areas, additional travel fees will be charged based on your location.
Q: can I bring my machine to your shop?
A: Yes, absolutely. You can bring in your machine anytime during our business hours Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
Q: What is our shop rate?
A: Shop rate is a flat fee of $100 (plus parts - if any).
